CLOVERDAYLE is a performing and songwriting Country duo from Oregon that features Chad Hamar on rhythm acoustic guitar and Rachel Hamar on lead vocals. Just two months after forming Cloverdayle in the Spring of 2008, their first show was at a battle of the bands where four Northwest based Country acts, hand picked by the local Country radio station, competed in front of a panel of judges for the chance to open for Kenny Chesney. After winning, Cloverdayle’s second show was when they opened for Kenny Chesney at the Clark County Amphitheater in front 18,000 people. Since their rapid launch into the Country Music market, Cloverdayle has been invited to share the stage with Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Wynonna, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Jake Owen, and Josh Turner to name a few. In 2010, Cloverdayle teamed up with Brooks & Dunn songwriter and producer Terry McBride, (who wrote the #1′s “Play Something Country” and “If You See Him, If You See Her” feat. Reba McEntire), and Dwain Rowe, (Long-time keyboard player for Brooks & Dunn), to embark upon the recording of 4 Cloverdayle singles. Most recently, Jason Aldean’s band, (Rich Redmond, Tully Kennedy and Kurt Allison), have offered to produce and play on a new Cloverdayle project, (which will begin in late March 2012). Rich, Tully and Kurt also produced and played on the Nashville act Thompson Square’s new record, including their #1 hit single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”.
